Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to see the Meerkats and other animals at Hopwood Hall. This was a successful conclusion to our Science topic on 'Animals including Humans.' Enjoy the pictures……. (13.7.17)
On Thursday 9th February, the boys and girls in 3S thoroughly enjoyed themselves making Pizza Margherita at Pizza Express. They learnt about the role of the pizzaiolo (pizza maker) and what ingredients are required to make a pizza. This was a successful conclusion to our Science topic on Food and Nutrition. (16.2.17)

On Thursday 8th December, the children in Year 3 performed two special Advent Assemblies to the children in school and to their parents/carers later on. Year 3 met BB8 on Monday 21st November. They found out that the robot could communicate with them and they asked it lots of questions as it travelled around the hall. They really enjoyed the day. (25.11.16)
The children in Year 3 have had a great week following instructions. They have made apple and pear crumble, which they said was delicious. They’ve also made their own sheet of paper. They have followed the instructions very well and have done fantastic writing afterwards.

The children in Year 3 have been reading The Great Paper Caper by Oliver Jeffers. The have found that most of the animals in the story live in dens underneath the trees. They have shown of their creative skills by designing their own dens for the animals. Enjoy the slide show below. (30.9.16)
Our children in Year 3 had to write down instructions on how to make a paper aeroplane, and then follow the instructions to make them!! They then went outside to see how the flew ……..we hope you enjoy the short slide show below. (27.9.16)
