Manchester Games

 

Y5 Boys & Girls Football Teams — had a great day at the Manchester School Games on Wednesday 5th July.  Both teams got through the group stages and made it through to the semi finals. The girls won bronze (3rd best team in Manchester and the boys just missed out on a medal coming fourth. Well done all.  (6.7.17)

 

 

 

 

Football lunchtime Matches

 

Y3/Y4 Boys Football — Well done to all the boys from Year 3 and 4 who played on Tuesday 4th July.  It was an excellent game finishing 2-2. Well done.  (6.7.17)

 

 

Y3/Y4 Boys Football — Well done to the Year 3/4 footballers who played at lunchtime on Thursday 29th June.  The game finished 6-3 to Year 4. The game was played in great spirit. Well done boys.  (6.7.17)

 

Y5/Y6 Boys Football — The 5/6 boys played a fantastic game on Monday 26th June on the school field. Well done to all the children, the game was played in great spirit.  (6.7.17)

 

 

Y5 — Cricket Team

Well done to the Year 5 Cricket Team who won a competition at Thornham Cricket Club on Thursday 22nd June, and now go to Blackpool to play in the finals.  (23.6.17)

 

Y3/Y4 — Football Match


Our Year 3 and Year 4 students played a great match on Thursday 22nd June on the school field! Well done boys, the spirit of the whole match was fantastic.  (23.6.17)

 

Y5 — Football  Competition

Our Year 5 Boys Football Team were the winners of a competition at Cardinal Langley on Wednesday 21st June, they now will represent Rochdale in the Manchester Games on the 5th July. Well done boys.

 

Y6 — Rounders Team

The Rounders' team played extremely well on Tuesday 20th June in a competition at Cardinal Langley.  They came 3rd overall. Well done guys.  (22.6.17)

 

Y5 & Y6 Match at Lunchtime

Some of our students from Year 5 and Year 6 played in a match on Monday 19th June at lunch time on the school field.  The game was played in great spirit and all the children from key stage 2 sat around the pitch in support. Well done everyone.  (22.6.17)

 

Y4 — Golf Team

Well done team, who competed fantastically at a competition at Cardinal Langley on Thursday 15th June, they are now through to the finals.  (22.6.17)

 

 

Y5 — Girls Football Team

Well done girls, they won the competition at Cardinal Langley on Wednesday 14th June.  They now go onto to represent Rochdale in the summer games.  (22.6.17)

Some of our children have been selected to participate in this year’s Greater Manchester Mini Games Competition today the 21st March. We have teams representing us in Gymnastics, Athletics & Basketball. The children have arrived at their destination and are ready to go.....we hope to send more photographs soon to let you know how they are getting along.   (21.3.17)
 

 

 

 

Hockey Team

Well done to the Year 6 Hockey Team. They played very well as a team in a competition at Kingsway on Wednesday 8th March.  Louisa, Matthew and Henrik all scored.  Our Player of the Match was Matthew. Thank you to everyone who came along to support the team.  Well done everyone.  (10.3.17)

 

 

Rugby Team

Well done to the Year 6 Rugby Team. Great team performance on Tuesday 7th March at St. Mary's.  They won 5 out of the 6 games. Try's were scored by Elliot, Louisa, Ralph, Jack and Seb.  Our Player of the Match was Louisa Ellis.  (10.3.17)

 

 

PE Dance Programme

As part of the PE Curriculum our children have been enjoying a dance programme.  They have now completed this programme and you will see in the video's below they have had a great deal of fun and learnt some wonderful dance moves.…….enjoy.  (17.2.17)

Rochdale AFC Academy Under 11 (Year 6) Trials

Boys Football — 28th January

Our Year 6 Boys Football team came 1st in the Rochdale League cup in a match on the 26th January which earned them a place into the Final on Saturday 28th January.  They played extremely well at this match, in the final result they were a gallant 3rd.  Well done boys.  (10.2.17)

 

Tag Rugby Team — 8th February

The Rugby Team where runners up in the Borough Final last night at Cardinal Langley.  The team played very well and deserved their silver medals.  (9.2.17)

 

Athletics Competition — 1st February

Our Athletics Team came second in a competition at Kingsway Park High School on Wednesday 1st February, winning silver medals and now go on to represent Rochdale in the winter games. Well done team.  (3.2.17)

 

Basketball Competition — 31st January

Great result for the basketball team on Tuesday 31st January.  They were unbeaten and they now go on to represent Rochdale in the Winter Games in March. Well done the team played fantastically. (2.2.17)

It was as great game between St. Vincent's and St. John's last Thursday 19th January. The score was 4-1. The team played fantastic. The Player of the Match was Elliot Poole.  (27.1.17)
