Y6 Boys Football — 20th March

Well done to the St. Vincent’s football team who represented Rochdale in the regional finals today. The team got through the group stages to beat hosts Blackburn Rovers on penalties in the semi final and went on to play against Oldham in the final. The team got beat 1-0 so are the second best team in the whole of the north and the second best team out of 1180 school who competed in this competition. Well done you did everyone proud and it is the best accomplishment the school and Rochdale football club have achieved. (21.3.18)

Y6 Boys Football — 17th March

The year 6 boys football team had a great day on Saturday 17th March. It started off with a 8-3 win against heap bridge, followed by a presentation at half time on the pitch during the Rochdale game. Well done boys.  (19.3.18)

 

 

 

 

Y4, Y5 & Y6 — Girls Football Team

Well done to the girls football team who won the competition at St. Mary's RC Primary School on Monday 12th March.  The took part in 5 games and were unbeaten in all 5 and only conceded 1 goal.  They played fantastic scoring 14 goals. Well done girls another trophy for the cabinet.  (14.3.18)

 

 

Y6 Basketball Team Finals

Well done to the Year 6 basketball team who played amazing in the finals on Thursday 1st February. Winning silver medals on the night. (5.2.18)

Well done to the Year 6 Basketball Team who won all their games making it through to the final on Thursday. Come on team! (31.1.18)

 

Best Y6 School Team in Rochdale

Well done to the Year 6 Boys’ Football Team who are officially the best school team in Rochdale after competing last week.  50 + teams entered the  competition and St. Vincent’s went on to win and will be presented with their trophy by one of the Rochdale Players during half time at the Rochdale Vs Fleetwood Game. 

The boys now play in the regional finals in Wigan in March and if successful will go on to play at Wembley.    What a great achievement.  Well done everyone.
