Some members of the GIFT were invited to the CAFOD launch of the BOB box project on Tuesday 20th June. This is a really exciting project to build a Bird or Bat box to help connect and support our local nature. The children were given the opportunity to make one for school. They even got to meet Bishop Arnold who is a big fan of this project. We are hoping to have a whole school project in the autumn on these BOB boxes and will raise money for CAFOD.
On Friday 9th June school held a non uniform day for ‘Wear it, Beat it’, British Heart Foundation along with lots of fundraising activities. The children and staff had a wonderful day and we are delighted to inform you the total raised was £1278.16. Thank you everyone for your wonderful support.
On Monday 10th April, the GIFT team held a prayer and worship session in the hall. All the children came to visit the different prayer stations and spent time reflecting on the importance of Easter. It was a very prayerful and special morning in our school. Well done GIFT team for organising and delivering it so well.
