Our Kitchen Supervisor, Miss Earnshaw has also been mentioned on the Rochdale Intranet following her fantastic award recently, see photograph and article below:-

"Liz is Advanced Apprentice of the Year

Congratulations to Liz Earnshaw, who has won Advanced Apprentice of the Year in Hospitality and Supervision Leadership, at Accrington and Rossendale College's Apprentice Awards 2017.

Liz works in facilities management as the kitchen supervisor at St Vincent's RC Primary School. She has shown continued enthusiasm for her personal learning and development to broaden her knowledge of the catering service. The facilities management team and the college are very proud of her achievement.

Her Assessor, Andrea Wimbleton, commented on why Liz truly deserved to win the award: "Liz has demonstrated that she is an excellent supervisor, running a busy school meals kitchen, being very organised on a day-to-day basis and providing an excellent service to the children and staff at the school.  The atmosphere in the kitchen is very positive due to her commitment. She leads by example and trains staff in all aspects of working in the kitchen to a very high standard.

Well done Liz!
