  • Dinners are £2.30 per day. £75.90 for 5th Sept to 19th Oct.

Dinners have increased to £2.30 per day. Therefore dinners due for the period 5th September to 19th October, which is 33 days will be £75.90. For our Year 6 pupils who are visiting Robinwood at the beginning of October for 3 days, their adjusted total is £69.00. Please can we remind you that all dinners must be paid in advance. It is very costly for school to send out reminders and chase parents for payment, especially as school budgets continue to be reduced. Thank you for your understanding and support. You can transfer to Account 24989920 - Sort 05-07-22. If you wish to check if you have any school dinner credits from last term please email acolgan@st-vincents.rochdale.sch.uk who will be happy to advise you.
  • Book Bags and PE Bags

Due to health and safety reasons and the general congestion in the cloakroom areas. I would ask you not to send your child into school in September with large sports bags/ruck sacks for their kits or reading books. Reading bags and PE bags are available from school. Many thanks for your support with this.

TT Rockstars competition

TT Rockstars competition

On Wednesday 27th June three children from Year 6 (Rayhan, Raahill and Thomas) were chosen to represent school at the TT Rockstars competition at Thornleigh Salesian college. They all performed incredibly and were brilliant representatives of our school. After competing against 50 other schools from the North West, they finished a respectable 17th. We are extremely proud of their achievements. Well done!

Rosary May - 2018

Rosary May - 2018

During the month of May, we think particularly about Mary, Jesus’ mother and our mother in heaven. Year 5 started May with a special assembly for the whole school about Mary and her life, and they asked all the school to wear something light blue every Friday in May.

BOB Boxes CAFOD Success

BOB Boxes CAFOD Success

In the Autumn Term, nearly 100 children from Key Stage 2 made BOB Boxes. As a result, we have raised a over £700 for CAFOD. Last week, the children decided to spend this money through the CAFOD World Gifts. They purchased a safe place for children to learn, teaching many children to read and trees for life. These will support many children and their families around the world who face challenging situations. We are very proud that the children raised so much money to help so many people and are living out the Pope's message to help our brothers and sisters around the world. Thank you.
