Before & Aftercare Information
New bills have been issued for May to the email we have on our database. Please note each child will receive a separate bill, we no longer have family bills.
The cover letter shows the amount due with any discount applied.
The attached statement shows the amount due without any discount applied, which is why they are different.
Please take the figure on the cover letter as the amount due for the current month, not the statement amount.
Please email me on email@example.com if you have any issues. Thank you. (13.6.17)
From 3rd April you will be sent a new style bill for your before and aftercare account. Please see below explanation of the new codes.
|B||= Before care||C||= Before care for sibling|
|D||= Aftercare until 3.45||E||= Aftercare until 3.45 for sibling|
|F||= Aftercare until 4.15||G||= Aftercare until 4.15 for sibling|
|H||= Aftercare until 4.45||I||= Aftercare until 4.45 for sibling|
|J||= Aftercare until 5.15||K||= Aftercare until 5.15 for sibling|
|Z||= No Charge|
An example of the coding of your bill would be :-
B H — this indicates your child attended before care (B), and attended aftercare until 4.45 p.m. (H).
C I — this indicates a sibling attended before care (C), and a sibling attended aftercare until 4.45 p.m. (I)
Please note bills will be issued for each child, bills could detail different codes for the same sessions attended by different siblings. Please refer to the key above.
Before care is open at 7.45 a.m. each morning
We open school at 7.45 am and will supervise your child/ren until 8.35 am when the school day begins. Please note :- when dropping off or picking up your child from before or after school care can you please use the double doors only near the Year 2 classrooms, (at the top of the steps). You will no longer be able to take a short cut through the main doors. It will probably be easier for you to use the church car park to park your car as the entrance/exit doors for before/aftercare are now on that side of the school. Please could we ask you to advise the school office/staff if someone is not allowed to collect your child from aftercare.
Thank you for your cooperation.
For the morning care service we charge £2.00 for the supervision, then £1.50 per additional child from the same family.
Please do not leave your children unattended on the premises in the morning before 7.45 a.m.
Open each evening from 3.15 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. usually in the area outside Year 2 & 3 classrooms and the computer suite; and sometimes in the Hall or in the playground if the weather permits.
After Care Supervision is provided by a class teacher or lead teaching assistant and two classroom assistants.
A drink and some fruit are provided for your child at approximately 4.00 p.m. If you have any objections to your child receiving these, please inform school.
£1.50 per child per ½ hour (or portion of ½ hour) for the first child, then £1.00 per additional child from the same family per ½ hour (or portion of ½ hour).
Families on a low income or single parents can reclaim part or all of the charges from the DWP, by completing their appropriate forms.
Bills are sent home each month calculated on the amount of time that your child has spent in After Care. You may pay by cheque, made payable to St. Vincent’s School After School Club. Payment can also be made by via the internet, see bank details below:-

Aftercare finishes at 5.15 pm and there will be a charge of £15.00 per child for every child who is not collected until after 5.15 p.m.
Please note Childcare Vouchers can only be used for Before & Aftercare and Holiday Care.
If your child is unwell we will try to contact you. You must sign a parental consent form, before your child attends; giving us permission to take your child to hospital, in case s/he requires emergency medical treatment.
There is no need to pre-book a place. Simply inform your child’s teacher or (in the case of an emergency) phone the school office and we will ensure that your child is sent to after care. After Care can be used on a casual basis, whenever required. This service is open to children from the local community.
The same high standard of behaviour that is expected in school is also expected in our After Care Club. Although the children are able to choose which activities they participate in, they are expected to behave. If you are consistently late or your child misbehaves, then use of the service maybe withdrawn.
